Arbor is on a mission to create innovative and sustainable products that can replace hydrocarbon-derived products.

We work with trusted partners to acidulate Black Liquor Soap into Crude Tall Oil (CTO) and have begun the planning for the construction of our first Acidulation Facility. We have also begun the planning for a Fractionation Facility.

Our new state-of-the-art acidulation facility, sited at a large pulp mill, will have excess capacity and be capable of processing Black Liquor Soap from other facilities into CTO. Our fractionation facility will be site adjacent to a major off-take customer and will distill our CTO into various pine chemicals:

Tall Oil Rosin

• Tall Oil Fatty Acids

Distilled Tall Oil

• Tall Oil Pitch

The pine chemical by-products can be used to create green and sustainable alternatives to everyday hydrocarbon products.

How Arbor Can Help You

LOGISTICS

We’re able to maintain an extensive logistics network and work closely with pulp mills to transport CTO in a timely manner. This requires information sharing, including, but not limited to, projected pulping rates, shut-down coordination, and transport scheduling. We also have a significant fleet of railcars along with dock storage for overseas shipments.

Our new advanced fractionation facility, sited adjacent to a large off-take customer, will distill CTO into its various components for sale to customers for making many products that are used daily and are in high demand.

Arbor markets Crude Tall Oil (CTO) to blue-chip customers on the spot market. Unlike other marketers of CTO that utilize third-party channel partners, all of Arbor’s sales are made on a direct-to-customer basis. Our long, stable relationships with established players in the pine chemicals market enable Arbor to maximize value and customer focus.

FEEDSTOCK RECOVERY

Our technical expertise enables us to provide recovery services to our feedstock suppliers, helping pulp mills improve their black liquor soap and CTO yields. Our technical expertise helps customers increase revenue and improve the operational efficiency of pulp mill operations.

Our new state-of-the-art acidulation facility sited at a large pulp mill will have excess capacity and will be capable of processing Black Liquor Soap from other facilities into CTO.
